New Hairstyle

Hanging out with Daddy.

Now that Jackson has a lot more hair, we wanted to see what he would look like with a mohawk. Needless to say, he looks pretty darn cute. All we did was add water and it ended up staying that way for most of the night:)

First Visit to See Santa

With Daddy when we first got there. Not quite sure what to think....
With Grandpa Keith....He showed Jackson the race track and the red rider bebe guns:)
Getting sassy since the wait was longer than we anticipated;)
Almost there...

With Grandma Sherry. This picture is especially funny because Grandma taught Jackson how to spit and that is all he wants to do when he sees her now:)
With Santa, not quite sure who he is...
Posing for his picture:)
Wearing his new hat from Grandma Sherry:)

Yesterday, we headed to Bass Pro Shop for Jackson's first visit to see Santa! We knew it would be busy so we got there right when it opened and we were able to get through the line in just under an hour:) Jackson did great! He was not scared at all, more curious than anything. He especially enjoyed all of the animals and the decorations while we were in line.
Grandpa Keith and Grandma Sherry went along with us and afterwards, Grandma got Jackson a new winter hat!

Crawling Up the Stairs!

I know I mentioned in a few posts, however, we finally have a video to show everyone. Jackson's new favorite thing to do it to crawl up the stairs. We were over at my parent's house on Saturday and he did it about 15 times:) He loves it and he gives you a great big smile when he gets to the top!

Ho Ho Ho!

I love this time of year and I love the holiday themed clothes they have for little ones! Aunt Carla got Jackson a "Ho Ho Ho" onesie and I thought I would take a few pics on him crawling around this past weekend.

Jackson 9-Month Pictures

Well, I kind of dropped the ball on the day that Jackson turned 9-months and forgot to put up a post (things have been busy to say the least), however, I thought that tacking a developmental update on to his 9-month pics, which turned out super cute, would be just as good. So, now that Jackson is 9-months old, he can eat more solid food. As he gets more teeth, we feed him more things:) He has 3 1/2 teeth. His top two are coming in this week (ahhh!). He can crawl and pull himself up to standing position. This past weekend he learned how to crawl up the stairs. He says "da da" and " ma ma". He claps and loves to mimic hand motions! To sum it up, he is "talking" up a storm and he is all over the place:)

A Christmas Story

Opening shot of the stage. We had great seats!
Waiting for the show to begin:)

It is no secret that one of my favorite Christmas movies is "A Christimas Story"....Ralphie, "You'll Shoot You're Eye out", tongue stuck to the flag pole, etc. So, when Jack's Aunt Barbie and Uncle Rick invited us to see "The Christmas Story, the musical" at the KC Reperatory Theater on Sunday, we jumped at the chance. We had a great time and it was so much fun to watch:) It was also the perfect way to end a wonderful holiday weekend with family and friends and the perfect way to start off the holiday season!

Playdate with the Curry's

Sarah and Jackson
Sarah, Kayla, Jackson and I

To continue on with our busy weekend, we stopped by to see Sarah, one of my best friends from high school and her daughter Kayla (10 months). They were in town from Iowa and they were headed to the K-State game, but we had just enough time to catch up and the kids got to play together for awhile. We had a great time and can't wait to schedule another one when they are back for Christmas!
